Renewable Energy

Renewable energy is energy which comes from nature which is naturally and abundantly available such as sunlight, wind, tides, and geothermal heat, which are renewable (naturally replenished). About 16% of global final energy consumption comes from renewable energy sources.

Is it possible for alternative energy sources to replace refined sources of such as gasoline, kerosene, and diesel fuel? These oil-based fuels are also very versatile and other products can be manufactured using them. These fuels form the foundation of the petrochemical industry. Plastics, medicines, paints, and several other products that form part of our daily lives are based on oil. So why choose alternative energy sources instead?

Well, when using energy from sources that are easily replaced, you are using renewable energy. They are often described ultra labs hgh as clean and green forms of energy because of their minimal environmental impact compared to fossil fuels. One advantage of renewable energy therefore is the more sustainable use of finite sources of energy. You probably are aware of that advantage already. But of course there is more. And by the way, there is much that you can do yourself about using renewable energy.

Sources of energy can be divided into renewable and non-renewable sources. Renewable sources of energy include oil sands, heavy oil, natural gas, coal, shale oil, gas hydrates, nuclear fisson and geothermal energy in some forms. Renewable sources of energy include wood or biomass, hydro-electric power, solar energy, wind energy, wave, energy, tidal power, fusion and ocean thermal energy conversion. The latter are alternative energy sources.
